Protocol with KESK for Disaster Awareness Training Program
Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) continues to sign cooperation protocols as a part of the 2021 Turkey Disaster Training Year activities. The protocol signed today with the Confederation of Public Laborer's Unions (KESK) will pave the way to raise disaster awareness trainers among KESK members and include organizing disaster training programs for KESK staff and stakeholders. The protocol was an important step in the training program campaign.
Within the framework of Turkey Disaster Training Year, AFAD continues to establish cooperation protocols in an effort to reach all parts of the society. Recently, it signed “Disaster Awareness Training Cooperation Protocol” with KESK. The protocol will allow KESK to raise disaster awareness trainers among its members and it will also organize training programs not only for its members but also for its stakeholders. Moreover, the protocol also includes articles about AFAD Volunteering System, distance and face to face education about civil defense and workplace case of emergency plans.
Design and content of all written, visual and audial materials that will be used during training programs and promotion activities will be prepared by AFAD. Meanwhile, KESK will encourage its members to join the AFAD Volunteering System. Face to face and distance education programs will be organized by KESK.
